Cassper Nyovest’s “Strive” is some solid beats and spoken words brilliantly interwoven. Really superb fusion right here.
The beats are banging, and production is first-rate; with catchy lyrics, an inspiring storyline and mainstream elements splashed over this, it means Cassper has our attentions on this 4-minute cut. He kills this one. Traveling from South African speakers into Nigeria’s, this is some whiz studio effort buried with all the glitters of ingenuity there is. Cassper is on his Talib Kweli mode; he assumes position and leaves a lasting impression on this. We love.
Again, it’s splendid how he concocts this, how he swings between English and his mother tongue; we admire the sounds and melody it brings, we love especially how much propensity to stay a hit it has. Radio-ready, crackerjack effort. Original. Superb!
