Donsah starts for Cagliari against old club Hellas Verona

Godfred Donsah is a starter for Cagliari again in the Italian top flight as Giafranco Zola's side host Hellas Verona in a must-win match day 25 tie on Sunday afternoon.
Donsah's side are rooted to the relegation zone and desperately need the three points to give themselves a breather and close in on escaping the drop. But this afternoon's game is also a special one for the 18 year old because it's against the club which gave him his first break into Serie A.He may not have seen much game time for Hellas where he spent the entire of the 2013/14 season but Donsah will forever be grateful to the Verona side for the 22 minutes of action he saw against Atalanta on 19 April, 2014, a 2-1 victory for Hellas away from home. Now he has become a regular at Cagliari making a total of 15 appearances and will be making his 9th straight start for the team coached by Chelsea legend, Zola against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Sant'Elia.
Donsah acknowledges and appreciates the platform Hellas Verona offered him to hone his skills but the teenage sensation wants only one team to win today.
"Special: Cagliari vrs Verona is a game involving clubs I love and owe gratitude," he tweeted early Sunday morning.
"(But) Cagliari Calcio will beat Hellas Verona FC," Donsah added confidently.
